Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 21 February 2026

Please read these terms carefully before using ScaffLink. By using our platform you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About ScaffLink

ScaffLink is a trading name of Exall Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. ScaffLink operates as an online broker platform that connects customers with independent scaffolding companies ("Scaffolders"). ScaffLink is not a scaffolding contractor and does not provide scaffolding services directly.

ScaffLink facilitates the booking and payment process between customers and Scaffolders. The contract for scaffolding services is between the customer and the Scaffolder.

2. Using Our Platform

To use ScaffLink you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts. When you create an account you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Bookings & Payments

When you book scaffolding through ScaffLink, you agree to pay the full quoted price at the time of booking. All prices displayed are inclusive and there are no hidden charges.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Your payment is held in escrow and is only released to the Scaffolder after you confirm the job has been completed, or after 48 hours of automatic confirmation following the Scaffolder marking the job as erected.

Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking
  • Payments are held securely in escrow via Stripe Connect
  • Funds are released to the Scaffolder upon job confirmation
  • ScaffLink deducts a commission from each booking before paying the Scaffolder

4. Cancellations & Refunds

We understand plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 48+ hours before erection date: Full refund minus a £25 administration fee.
  • Within 48 hours of erection date: 50% refund. The Scaffolder receives 25% as compensation for the reserved slot.
  • After scaffold erection: No refund is available as the service has been delivered.
  • Scaffolder no-show: Full refund issued to the customer.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.

5. Hire Extensions

If you need the scaffold for longer than the booked period, you can request an extension through your dashboard. Extension prices are calculated from the Scaffolder's weekly extension rate, which is displayed at the time of your original booking. ScaffLink's commission applies to extension payments.

If you do not request an extension and the hire period expires, the Scaffolder is authorised to dismantle (strike) the scaffold. Reminder emails are sent at 7 days and 2 days before your hire period ends.

6. Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the scaffolding work, you may raise a dispute through your booking dashboard. Both parties will be asked to provide photographic evidence. ScaffLink will review the evidence and issue a resolution which may include a full refund, partial refund, or no refund.

ScaffLink's dispute resolution decision is made in good faith but is not legally binding. Either party retains the right to pursue the matter through the courts or alternative dispute resolution services.

7. ScaffLink's Role & Liability

ScaffLink is a broker platform and is not responsible for the design, erection, or safety of any scaffold. The Scaffolder is solely responsible for ensuring all scaffolding work complies with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and all relevant health and safety legislation.

All Scaffolders on the platform are required to hold a minimum of £5 million public liability insurance and valid employer's liability insurance. However, ScaffLink does not guarantee the quality of any Scaffolder's work and accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from scaffolding services.

ScaffLink's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant booking.

8. Scaffolder Obligations

Scaffolders on the platform agree to maintain valid insurance, provide accurate pricing, arrive on the agreed date, erect scaffolding to industry standards, and upload photographic evidence of completed work. Failure to meet these obligations may result in penalties including suspension or removal from the platform.

9. Reviews

After a job is completed, customers are invited to leave a review. Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on genuine experience. ScaffLink reserves the right to remove reviews that contain offensive language, personal attacks, or content we reasonably believe to be false or misleading. Scaffolders may respond to reviews publicly.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the ScaffLink platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Exall Group Ltd and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Your continued use of ScaffLink after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
